This weekend I heard Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday” for the first time. Or so I thought. As soon as I heard it I identified it as the core sample for a LAKE R▲DIO song “Joining You”. If you’ve ever seen QI you’ll know the Billie Holiday original has a crazy story behind it. There’s nothing like a song that leads people to off themselves.
